Carista is a mobile app that lets you customize your in¬car experience to your liking. You can also check your vehicle for problems, as well as clear any fault codes. Carista is compatible with standard (i.e. inexpensive) OBD adaptersthat plug into your vehicle's diagnostic port. Unlock your car's potential! We’re currently looking to fill the following position, based in Sofia, Bulgaria:
Software Development Engineer (car diagnostic app)
• Experience with at least one objectoriented language such as Java, C#, C++, ObjectiveC
• Experience with mobile development (Android or iOS) (optional, but a huge plus)
• Good understanding of software design, including design patterns and objectoriented design
• Multithreaded programming
• Solid knowledge of algorithms, data structures, memory management, etc.
• Good written and spoken English
• (optional, but a plus) Experience with userinterface design and UX
• (optional, but a plus) Experience with distributed systems, clientserver applications,reusable libraries, etc.
In this position, you will work on Carista, our acclaimed automotive customization and diagnostics application. We’re looking for an experienced developer, passionate about the
project. Our mobile stack includes native iOS and Android development, as well as a shared
library in C++.
We employ testdriven development (TDD), scrum, and other agile methodologies. You will be asked to go through a rigorous technical interview, similar to those at industry leaders like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon.
