looking into driving offroad in bulgaria is it legal to drive the tracks cos im thinking of starting a offroading for tourists

Well it depends
Generaly speacing it is legal, But there are some restricted areas, like all national Parks (mostley in mountins). But i am not an expert and colud not advise you in this respect. Buy the way - where are You from? And what's are your plans?

i am in brighton england and we have a house in the village of popovo
(nonobo) near elhovo
we got the house last year and are having it done up we are driving over in october with the wifes range rover 3.9 auto

If you plan to make a big offroad trip in Bulgaria, I have developed a map for Garmin GPS, which includes tens of thousands unpaved roads all over the country. It can be installed on your computer and you can plan your trip ahead. I believe it will be very helpful.

I am also very interested in your offroad map - would it work for Magellan Explorist? I am in Sofia but is very keen to explore the rest of BG. I like your site - i have got a swb LC70 landcruiser like the grey one on your site.
