За "специалистите" оръжейници: Гугъл за "exploding ammunition" и примерно, едно от многото клипчета (тук от 7-мата минута е по-интересно):

И дебалансирани куршуми има, повтарям ИМА, независимо, че ги нема у кварталната железария и сте гледàли клипове, където са обяснили, че не съществуват.

При нас бяха 3 вида само за автоматите - бях в бойно поделение, а не "пазител на шумата" :-)

НиШТА не знаЙш за славните Таатови Гранични войски. Имахме и сме ползвали десетина вида - за наряд зелени "Завод 5", твърдеше се, че са ГеДеРмански, обикновени жълти с червен "херметизиращ лак" на "Завод 10" Казанлък - за учебни стрелби, сиви (синьо-сива гилза и сив мек куршум), без цифра на гилзата (твърдяха, че билЕ съвеЦки), трасаци ("целеуказващи") - с две ивици на куршума, едната показваше и цвета на "трасса"-та, бронебойни, бронебойно-запалителни (с ивици на гилзата) и още някакви. При стрелби се криеха част от патроните и после се бракониерстваше с тях. Някой беше ударил заек с "бронебоен запалителен" - еми, нищо не беше останало от животинката.

Гагич, exploding /взривяващи се/ и expanding /разширяващи се/ звучат почти еднакво ама са 2 много различни неща. И съвсем ясно си го казват хората- exploding куршуми имат заряд вътре, който се взривява при контакт с достатъчно твърда повърхност. Това са дум-дум куршуми. Expanding /разширяващи се, кух връх.../ нямат заряд в куршума, просто стават на печурки при попадение. Държа в ръцете си такива муниции в момента, ама форума сложен за качване на снимки.

Bullets are composed of a casing containing an explosive powder charge, which, on striking, forces the end projectile element out at speeds of up to 1500 metres/second, depending upon the ammunition and the type of gun used. The projectile causes soft tissue damage through crushing, creating a temporary cavity that contains hot gases. The tissue is compressed radially from the centre of the cavity and, depending on its elastic properties, results in tears to structures (as seen with injuries to solid abdominal viscera). The recoil of the tissues, together with the dissipation of the gases, causes the soft tissue to collapse inwards on itself, the resultant defect being the permanent cavity.


Expansion, or hollow point, bullets are specialised bullets designed to deform upon impact because of a collapsible space within the projectile tip. The result is that a single projectile will inflict greater overall damage to a target, allowing an increased transfer of kinetic energy compared with a standard bullet. The “benefits” include a decreased risk of ricochet because the overall penetration distance is reduced; however, some of the older ammunition failed to expand on impact as a result of pieces of clothing obstructing the cavity.

Prefragmented, or frangible, bullets are composed of a prescored outer jacket with a plastic round nose containing compressed lead shot within. The result is a controlled explosion on impact producing increased damage and less clothing related problems. The tips, however, possess no explosive charge.

Declaration Renouncing the Use, in Time of War, of certain Explosive Projectiles
Saint Petersburg, 29 November/11 December 1868
On the proposition of the Imperial Cabinet of Russia, an International Military Commission
having assembled at St. Petersburg in order to examine the expediency of forbidding the use of certain
projectiles in time of war between civilized nations, and that Commission having by common agreement
fixed the technical limits at which the necessities of war ought to yield to the requirements of humanity,
the Undersigned are authorized by the orders of their Governments to declare as follows:
Considering:
That the progress of civilization should have the effect of alleviating as much as possible the
calamities of war;
That the only legitimate object which States should endeavour to accomplish during war is to
weaken the military forces of the enemy;
That for this purpose it is sufficient to disable the greatest possible number of men;
That this object would be exceeded by the employment of arms which uselessly aggravate the
sufferings of disabled men, or render their death inevitable;
That the employment of such arms would, therefore, be contrary to the laws of humanity;
The Contracting Parties engage mutually to renounce, in case of war among themselves, the
employment by their military or naval troops of any projectile of a weight below 400 grammes, which is
either explosive or charged with fulminating or inflammable substances.
They will invite all the States which have not taken part in the deliberations of the International
Military Commission assembled at St. Petersburg by sending Delegates thereto, to accede to the present
engagement.
This engagement is compulsory only upon the Contracting or Acceding Parties thereto in case of
war between two or more of themselves; it is not applicable to non-Contracting Parties, or Parties who
shall not have acceded to it.
It will also cease to be compulsory from the moment when, in a war between Contracting or
Acceding Parties, a non-Contracting Party or a non-Acceding Party shall join one of the belligerents.
The Contracting or Acceding Parties reserve to themselves to come hereafter to an understanding
whenever a precise proposition shall be drawn up in view of future improvements which science may
effect in the armament of troops, in order to maintain the principles which they have established, and to
conciliate the necessities of war with the laws of humanity.
Done at St. Petersburg, 29 November (11 December) 1868.

Питате какво е дум-дум. Казах - че СЕГА така наричат "expanding" куршумите, но първоначално са били "exploding". И то не запалителни, а за поразяване на човешка тъкан. Но-о-о-о, ви надцених - явно не четете, а бързате да се поФалите какво сте си накупили от уол-марта Спирам с това безсмислено отклонение от темата.

Мото мен, е нали и ние това говорим- кухи върхове НЕ са дум-дум. Дум-дум куршуми са с вътрешен заряд взривяващ се при попадение, точно това което си дал на клипа. Кухите върхове нямат заряд, не са дум-дум, a просто се разчепват каро гъба за да предадат енергията на куршума върху мишената, и да не дупчат излишно. Понеже си обичам комшиите, всичко в нас предназначено за защита е точно с такива куршуми. При нас са разрешени.
Правете разлика между expanding и exploding.

The Hague Convention of 1899, Declaration III prohibits the use of expanding bullets in international warfare.[2][22] This is often incorrectly believed to be prohibited by the Geneva Conventions, but it significantly predates those conventions, and is in fact a continuance of the Declaration of St Petersburg in 1868, which had earlier banned exploding projectiles of less than 400 grams (14 ounces).
